“Same Guy” by Kresnt
This song is centered on Kresnt’s personal evolution. It looks at the multiple ways he has changed internally as well as how some of his associates now relate to him. Indeed in the chorus, he states that he is “not the same guy as before”. And in that regard, he has now “turned cold”. This alarming change in disposition seems to have been spurred by his realizing that “all that glitter’s not gold” as well rumors being spread about him.
