And being a true freestyle, the song is not based on any singular theme in particular. Rather its true purpose is to showcase the rapper’s lyrical skills. And he does an outstanding job of accomplishing this feat, dropping a rap full of comedic and colorful metaphors and direct references to people and objects in the room, which is especially impressive considering that he is spitting off the top of his head.

Lil Dicky is not a name you commonly hear mentioned amongst the list of top-commercial rappers. However, songs such as this one have helped cement his legacy as one of the most-respected lyricists in the game.
