Drake Bell – I Found a Way

Drake Bell’s “I Found a Way” is centered on the general concept of a person’s life being edified via an idealized internal transformation. Or let’s say that the titular “way” which Bell is referring to would be the road to personal fulfillment and limitless-possibility thinking. And he touts reaching this goal as one which is not difficult, though it may “take some time”. According to him, such can be achieved by an individual ‘realigning’ their frame of thought so to speak. Or as Bell elaborates, a person has to search the depths of their own “mind” to discover that what’s already “inside” will actually point them towards the aforementioned fulfillment.

And as illustrated by the bridge, this overall disposition (which he is espousing) is akin to or will result in a high degree of self-confidence.  Moreover said assuredness is based on the individual’s desire to live “free”.

So all lyrics considered, we can conclude that this is a motivational tune. And perhaps the simplest way of describing its message is as one which supports the idea of solving self-esteem and emotional issues internally instead of externally.
