Meaning of “Alright” by Jain
“Alright” is a song performed by the Grammy Award-nominated French singer and songwriter Jain. Lyrically, the song “Alright” deals with the aftermath of a breakup. In the song, the singer (Jain) tells her lover (whom apparently has just broken up with her) that she has “better things to do” than waste her time crying over him. From the lyrics, the singer reveals that she isn’t over her lover. However, she isn’t going to mope over the breakup. She’s not going to spend valuable time looking down at him because “life’s too short”.
