“Let’s Go” by Key!
This song reads as if Key! is addressing a romantic interest. So it is she whom he is saying “let’s go” to. And some parts of the track, such as the end of the first verse and beginning of the second verse, sound as if he may have some sort of beef with her. But the lyrics don’t center solely on a romantic relationship. For instance, the first verse, via some semi-elusive metaphors, appears as if he is alluding to his wealth at first, then street violence and then his relationship. Also in the chorus he seems to be addressing two different sets of addressees.
So the lyrics of “Let’s Go” tend to bounce around a bit. But overall the two main topics are first a troubled relationship Key! is in and second his come-up.
