“I Can’t Live Without You” by Al Walser

The track starts off with Al Walser stating how long his relationship with his beau has lasted, “2 months 11 days” to be exact. We know that being in a love affair for that long (or short, rather) would leave anyone still in that ‘honeymoon’ phase where everything is butterflies and magic. However, he feels that this love he shares with his partner is beautiful and special enough to stand the test of time.

The female vocalist (Levit) then joins in, expressing similar sentiments as Walser. She shares that they’ll keep on persevering in their relationship together till death tears them apart as without.

Fast forward 29 years 10 months and 20 days, this happy couple has been together for “30 years, 11 days”. Sure, they had their ups and downs, and even felt like giving up at times. Yet, despite all these curveballs, they still know that life without the other is not a life worth living so they are gonna keep trying and doing their best together.
