In this track, the singer is addressing a female. And what he is basically telling her is that he would give her “the world” if only she is “worth it”. And the way he judges values in a partner is not based on looks or really anything external. Rather what it boils down to is her ability edify his existence, as in not waste his time.

The track’s singular verse goes into specifics about YK’s lifestyle but never deviates from the overall theme of Osiris singing to his love interest. So even though he brings up the fact that in the past “everybody doubted (him)”, he reminisces on such because this particular lady stuck around amidst suspicions. When he alludes to his toughness, he insinuates that the world in general does not “understand” him, but this particular lady does. And he assures her that when he is out “on the road… doing shows”, he is staying faithful to their relationship.

Osiris himself has stated that in this track he is not singing to a specific female, as in a real-life person. So the woman highlighted in this song is rather the personification on what he perceives as an ideal partner. And in that regard, the artist seems fully intent on giving his all to a special someone, even if she is not “perfect”, as long as he deems her to be “worth it”.

• On 2 March 2019, this became the first song YK Osiris ever dropped which appeared on the Billboard Hot 100, where it made its debut at number 87.
