Honestly, the exact meaning of the title of this song (“1300 Stars”) is a bit allusive. But ultimately it is intended to point to the idea of Iamsu being pissed off. And the reason he is so is basically due to the haters which surround him. So perhaps in the name of throwing salt on their emotional wounds, he goes about pointing out various ways in which his success is manifest. But overall he presents himself as a humble sort of dude who is primarily preoccupied with his grind.
Summary: Iamsu acknowledges that haters are a constant part of his life, but he’s mainly focused on making millions.
Iamsu released this song, via a label called Eyes on Me, on 30 June 2020. He is doing so as part of a commitment he has made to come out with a new track every week. And in staying true to his word, he both wrote and produced “1300 Stars”.
