That said, it is important to take note of the fact that “Call Me Irresponsible” initially appeared in the 1963 comedy film “Papa’s Delicate Condition”. In the said film, the song was performed by American actor Jackie Gleason.

The version of the song that appeared in the aforementioned movie was extremely successful. For example, this version won an Oscar in 1964. It won in the “Best Original Song” category.
