“Don’t Damn Me” by Guns N’ Roses
“Don’t Damn Me” is one of those tracks where Axl seems like he’s really gotta get something off his chest, ya know? The guy’s literally flying through those lyrics with such a fierce intensity. It’s a sort of message to the critics and people who just wouldn’t get off his back. Axl’s always been that kinda “no BS” guy and this track is him all over – direct, uncompromising, and just straight-up raw.
The guitar work is gnarly too – those solos from Slash are fast, intricate, and so dang fiery. It’s like, the guitars are echoing the ferocity in Axl’s words, right?
