Electric Light Orchestra

This is a British rock collective that was established in 1970. The group, which is simply known as ELO, was formed in Birmingham by the following musicians:

  • Roy Wood
  • Jeff Lynne
  • Bev Bevan

In December of 1971, the group launched their debut full-length album titled “The Electric Light Orchestra”. They followed this up with a number of other projects including “Discovery”, which is their 8th studio offering. This project was hugely successful for the group, and it proved so with a peak position of number 1 and 5, respectively, in the UK and the US.
