“Interior Crocodile Alligator” by King Chip

“Interior Crocodile Alligator” is one of those types of rude-boy rap songs. King Chip goes about depicting himself in a manner in which for instance he has an affinity for exotic dancers but don’t actually give them tips. And he references the likes of Lebron James for example to point to the fact that he likes drinking Tanqueray. This is indeed a freestyle, so minimal effort is made to stick to one topic per se. But overall if we were forced to derive one, it would simply be that King Chip is chillin’.

Indeed the title of this song is actually an allusion to the interior of his car (i.e. its seats), a vehicle he also likens to a “movie theater”. And it is that segment of the lyrics, which comes near the conclusion, which has gone on to make this song relevant some years after it originally dropped. Or stated differently, the lines “interior crocodile alligator, I drive a Chevrolet movie theater” went on to become a popular internet meme which kept this track relevant. Moreover it is that selfsame line that will give you the general feel of this track, despite it the lyrics also featuring a few references to street violence.
