Neil Young

Neil Young is a legendary Canadian-American musical artist, who has several decades of experience in the music industry. Young was born in Toronto, Canada in November 1945.

He embarked on his musical journey during the early 1960s. His debut studio project, which is self-named, was issued in 1968. His fourth studio album, “Harvest”, is one of his most successful projects. This record topped the official album charts in many parts of the world including the UK, the US and Canada.

Accolades

The Canadian-American singer has an incredible number of top accolades under his belt. For example, he has a tall list of Grammy nominations as well as awards. Young was nominated for the first time at the Grammys in 1990. His 17th studio album “Freedom” was named on the nominee list for the “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” award. This accolade eventually went to “The End of the Innocence”, a record by Don Henley.

 In 2011 his song “Angry World” was adjudged the “Best Rock Song” at the Grammys.
