Tears for Fears

This British group was established in 1981 in the city of Bath in England. Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal are the band’s co-founders, who currently makeup its lineup.

The band dropped their maiden album two years after their formation. The project, entitled “The Hurting”, was a big hit for the group as it topped the UK albums chart and peaked at number 73 in the US.

The band’s next project, “Songs from the Big Chair” was more successful. It peaked at number 2 in the UK, and landed the band their first number 1 hit in the US.
