In this song, the singer is highlighting her “vices”, i.e. questionable behaviors. Amongst those listed are drinking, drugging and casual sex. And the reason she is referring to these actions in such a negative manner is because she does not approve of them. Indeed she is very much able to perceive their less-than-ideal aftermaths. But more to the point, the singer realizes that she has become accustomed to such a lifestyle due to more or less relying on these behaviors as a form of anti-depressant.

Summary: Mothica has reached a point in her life in which she has become dependent on detrimental behaviors. And apparently that concerns her greatly.

This song was written by Mothica and released in June 2020. And it actually blew up on TikTok, with the artist at the time being unsigned to a label.

According to Mothica, she actually wrote “Vices” shortly after sobering up. However, in the immediate aftermath she found herself depending on other questionable behaviors as a crutch.
