“We Are Chaos” by Marilyn Manson

“We Are Chaos” captures several conflicting thoughts from the speaker who questions himself and his listeners’ state of mind.

In an instance, the narrator seems to be addressing a state of mind, while in another instance, he appears to suggest that he is going to lead his audience into a state of darkness, confusion and possibly death.

He presents himself as an immovable phenomenon without a cure or solution. He further proposes that he is a mystery which could produce nothing but gloom when allowed to lead the way.

Released on 29th July, 2020, “We Are Chaos” is the first single from Manson’s eleventh studio album (which is titled after this song).

This is Marilyn Manson’s first material for the year 2020.

Manson co-penned and co-produced this song in collaboration with record producer and songwriter Shooter Jennings.
