“Faucet Failure” by Ski Mask the Slump God

“Faucet Failure” may sound like a strange title for a rap song.  However it’s a metaphor that alludes to the fact that the Slump God is always ‘dripping’. In other words, he is paid. Most of the lyrics however are not centered on Ski Mask’s material wealth. Rather they focus on his romantic encounters with women and his ability to charm them, even those in committed relationships. The insinuation is that his material wealth is what empowers him to have this advantage.

Is Ski Mask saying Ostriches can fly on “Faucet Failure”?

It is a fact that ostriches don’t fly. And virtually everyone knows this fact. However, interestingly enough, Ski Masks says ostriches can fly in the song’s chorus. At least from the point of view of certain fans.

On the chorus, he raps about being flyer than an ostrich.

“I’m flyer than a f***in’ ostrich”

The line above saw many fans criticize him. According to them, ostriches are flightless birds. Owing to this, he got it wrong saying he’s flyer than these birds. Shortly after the barrage of criticisms, Ski Mask took to Instagram to defend that line.

According to him, he’s fully aware that an ostrich is a flightless bird. Here are the exact words Ski Mask posted on Instagram regarding that line:
