“Off the Wall” by XXXTentacion (ft. Ski Mask the Slump God)

According to the chorus, the pair of rappers are “wilding out” on this song (“Off the Wall”). That’s another way of saying that they’re not holding their tongues in exhibiting their disorderliness. And one subject they harp on specifically is their intimate relations with women. So if a listener is squeamish in terms of songs which make direct references to rough bedroom fun, they may want to avoid “Off the Wall”.

But such storylines are what these artists are known for. And in addition to the sensual citations, there are also a few allusions to Ski Mask and X violently dealing with enemies.

So basically, this is a braggadocio song with a special emphasis on bedroom fun with women. And the fact that the vocalists are “off the wall” is indicative of the two of them living what can be deemed an unruly lifestyle.

A hip-hop collective known as Members Only released this track on 8 June 2017. It is part of a mixtape by the crew entitled “Members Only, Vol. 3”.

An interesting story behind this song is that it was released just hours after X got knocked out on stage in San Diego. The dude who sucker punched him, who was allegedly part of one of his rival’s crew, wound up in critical condition due to stab wounds. And an overall riot ensued which resulted in the knifing of another person.

Members Only was originally formed in 2014. It was founded by X (1998-2018) and Ski Mask the Slump God. As such, they had collaborated quite a few times before the release of “Off the Wall”, such as on 2015’s “Members Only, Vol. 1”.

The intro to this song heavily samples a 1999 Slipknot track entitled “Spit It Out”.

The writers of “Off the Wall” are XXXTentacion and Ski Mask the Slump God.

And the track was produced by an artist called Byou$.
