“Anime Thighs” by MC Virgins (ft. Wonder)

Anime, as you likely already know, is a form of Japanese animation which has become popular in the West. And the reason this track is named “Anime Thighs” is because, according to the MC Virgins, depictions of females in said art form are usually overly-sexualized. In fact relatedly the term anime thighs itself is apparently a thing. And within the context of the song, it’s basically a roundabout way of saying that this track is indeed about sex. Moreover the vocalists make numerous references to anime, as in popular franchises and characters within said genre, in the name of operating within titular motif. And what this results in is a track which, at times, is lyrically-impressive. But at the same time the wording is extremely graphic, even for a rap song. Indeed it can be concluded, as their appellation suggests, that the MC Virgins are very much horny. And as they explained the lyrics in the aftermath of an apparent backlash to the song, they “were around 15-16 years old” when they wrote them and intended and utilized such brash wording “purely for shock value and comedic purposes”.

The MC Virgins are an internet-based rap crew. And two of their members, MC God and MC Prophet, wrote this song in conjunction with the third vocalist and regular collaborator, Wonder.

Meanwhile the producer goes by the name of Fatheryelvy.
