Europe
Europe is a prominent name when it comes to musical collectives. This rock band from Sweden was established in 1979 in the Upplands Väsby municipality. It was founded by three musicians named:
- Tony Reno
- Joey Tempest
- John Norum
Europe’s first album was released in 1983. The self-titled project was not a major success outside Sweden. However, their third project, “The Final Countdown”, proved to be a major breakthrough for the group. This record peaked inside the top-10 on various major album charts around the world including the US and the UK.
