“Confessions on a Dance Floor”

Legendry and sensational American singer and songwriter Madonna released Get Together in 2005 as the third single from her tenth studio album, Confessions on a Dance Floor.

Warner Bros. Records released entire project on November 9. 2005. At the initial stages of recording the album, Madonna worked with French producer and songwriter Mirwais Ahmadzai.

However, she later felt that their combined effort was not yielding the desired results she needed. She then collaborated with English musician and producer Stuart Price to complete her desired album.

Recording of the album was mainly done at Price’s house studio. The album’s concept is about Madonna’s feelings and thoughts about love, commitment, religion, sex, and fame; hence she titled it Confessions on a Dance Floor.

The album earned a nomination for Best Dance Album at the 2007 Grammy awards. It also helped Madonna win the best international female solo artist of the year at the 2006 BRIT awards.

Furthermore, it peaked at the first position of the album charts of forty countries, earning Madonna a Guinness World Record in 2007. The album has also received numerous gold and platinum certifications from dozens of countries. It has so far sold over ten million copies globally.
