Gorillaz is undoubtedly one of the most popular virtual bands you can think of. This British group, which formed during 1998, was put together by an English-Albanian musician named Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, who is a British illustrator and comic book writer.

This virtual group has many accolades under its belt. This includes a 2006 Grammys for “Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals”. They earned this award for their song “Feel Good Inc.”, which they collaborated with hip hop group De La Soul.

Aside from the above-mentioned accolade, Gorillaz have received multiple nominations at the Grammys. In 2018 they received two nominations for their song “Andromeda” and album “Humanz” in the respective categories “Best Dance Recording” and “Best Alternative Music Album”. The award for the former category was given to LCD Soundsystem’s single, “Tonite”.
