“Andromeda” by Gorillaz (ft. Shelley FKA DRAM)

Most importantly, the origin of “Andromeda” traces back to Gorillaz’s Damon Albarn, reportedly watching the mother of his significant other die, with said individual being someone he truly loved. In relation to death, what the vocalist is putting forth thesis-wise is that we shouldn’t get too bent out of shape when a loved one dies. Beyond that, it also seems that he’s saying, more overtly in somewhat of a romantic context, that we should appreciate that special someone in our lives.
