He begins the song by saying that he came home and was as heavy as a stone. This could mean that he may have died and gone to Heaven. The subsequent lines imply that dust, which could represent troubles will disappear and give way to a new beginning.

The narrator stresses on kneeling and waiting as a sign of submission and patient endurance in anticipation of the divine judgement he is about to receive. In the second verse, he recognizes that though things may not pan out as he wishes, he is willing to persevere while remembering the forgiveness he received as a result of Christ’s death.

In the third verse, he maintains the message of staying strong amidst the down moments. As a sign of total surrender, he asks the Lord to free him from the lies of this world, and from the desires of his flesh. He further uses gestures such as raising his hands and bowing his head to symbolize his humility and resolve to wait for his final judgement.

I had a thought that it is the Prodigal Son’s story as told by the Prodigal Son, instead of the Father.

And there are many more here now than ever before….the universe scientists know realize the universe is complete & dark matter is no longer able to ground us.

Wow, that’s quite the non-sequitur. I don’t remember this being a thread where people were debating if gods exist or not.

BUt you do you I guess.

  3. A Saint who thinks we are close says:

I will wait for you – not be fooled by the antichrist and will wait for Jesus true return.

    Raise my hands
    Paint my spirit gold
    And bow my head
Keep my heart slow (I thought it said feel my heart soar)

Upon Christ’s return his body is changed into the uncorruptible body Jesus give those who are His. And his heart is now aware of the pure love of God that is hidden from us while we’re in these bodies.
