Leonard Cohen was a seasoned singer and songwriter of Canadian descent. Also noted for his poetry work, the Canadian singer initially started a career in this field before branching into music.

Born in Westmount in the province of Quebec, Cohen officially embarked on his musical journey in 1967. It was within this year he dropped his debut studio album entitled “Songs of Leonard Cohen”. Over his career, the Canadian singer had a total of 15 studio albums, including “Old Ideas”, which is arguably his most successful project.
