“Never Say Never” by Basement Jaxx (ft. ETML)

Reading a bit in between the lines, it seems that what the vocalist is speaking to is the concept of recuperating from romantic heartbreak. Beforehand, he was apparently under the impression that such a thing could “never” happen to him. But now, despite having “no regrets”, he does seem humbled in that regard. And it would also appear that listening to certain songs, such as this one, is what is causing him to reminisce on his past love, on top of the fact that he does indeed miss her.
