Passenger is the stage name of English singer and songwriter Michael David Rosenberg. The singer, who was born in 1984 in Brighton, began his career as a professional musician during the early 2000s.

Rosenberg began using his current moniker after the disbandment of a group he co-founded with Andrew Phillips in 2003. The group, which disbanded in 2009, also went by the moniker ‘Passenger’.

With the group, he released “Wicked Man’s Rest” as their first studio album. As an individual artist, he came out with his maiden project “Wide Eyes Blind Love” in 2009. His seventh studio album “Young as the Morning Old as the Sea”, earned him his first #1 hit in the UK.
