“Shake Ya Tailfeather” by Nelly, P. Diddy and Murphy Lee

You probably don’t need us to tell you that in this case, “tailfeather” is a slang term for a woman’s derriere. And as such, “Shake Ya Tailfeather” is yet another dance song centered on encouraging the women whom the vocalists deem sexy to shake their booties. And since the lyrics are being relayed by male vocalists, accordingly there is a romantic/sexual element to what’s being put forth also.

You can view the lyrics, alternate interprations and sheet music for Nelly, P.Diddy and Murphy Lee's Shake Ya Tailfeather at Lyrics.org.

But overall, this reads as sorta of a stripper anthem or a tune in which the vocalist(s) relishes watching the intended addressees, i.e. sexy women in clubs, dance in a gyrating manner.
