A.Chal is a musician who traces his parentage back to Peru. During his late teens, like many other aspiring singers he migrated to Los Angeles in hopes of embarking on a fruitful music career. And shortly thereafter he dropped his first EP, which is entitled “Ballroom Riots”. Said project proved to be a success, most notably empowering him to ink a deal with Sony’s ATV Music Publishing. And one of the tracks featured on the EP, “Round Whippin”, was very successful. It actually proved slappin’ enough that it was endorsed by Drake’s OVO Sound Radio. Even Zane Lowe himself gave it a world premiere on Apple Music Beats 1.
In the years that followed A.Chal increasingly made a name for himself, collaborating with big-name hip-hop artists. For instance, in 2017 he featured 2Chainz on his track “Love N Hennessy”. This collabo made an appearance on three-different Billboard charts. In 2019, he teamed up with Spanish artist Rosalia in the song “Me Traicionaste“. And in 2020 he dropped a track with Gunna entitled “Hollywood Love”. Also 2018 was a monumental year for the artist, as he was able to make a major career move by signing with Epic Records.
A.Chal is also a mutli-genre artists, with his music primarily being categorized as Latin trap, but he’s also proficient in soul, pop, R&B and hip-hop.
