Alan Walker
Alan Walker is an electronic-dance music (EDM) DJ who was born in England but also identifies with Norway. Indeed he is a citizen, by parentage, of both of those countries.
His musical breakthrough came in 2015 when he dropped a track entitled “Faded” alongside a Norwegian vocalist by the name of Iselin Solheim. Calling this song a success would be an understatement, as it reached number 1 in over 20 nations, primarily in Europe. Additionally it has been certified multi-platinum in approximately 15 countries, including the United States and United Kingdom.
Walker promptly followed up with additional hits. For instance, his next single, “Sing Me to Sleep”, was also a multi-platinum success. And another track he dropped in 2016, “Alone”, performed comparably. Additionally he released a song featuring Noah Cyrus entitled “All Falls Down” in 2017 which did pretty well for itself. And his debut album, “Different World” (2018), scored a number one in Norway and Finland.
Indeed since making it big, Walker has been consistently dropping hits throughout the years. And as a true DJ he is also known for remixing the songs of other artists such as Sia, Charli XCX, Bruno Mars and Miley Cyrus.
More notable works:
- “Alone, Pt. II”
- “Unity”
- “Strongest”
- “On My Way“
I am Alan Walkers biggest fan but I sadly never got to meet him preforming or an actual meeting.
