Andy Grammer
Andy Grammer is a musician who was born in Los Angeles. He grew up in New York but during his college years returned to L.A. He has music in his blood as his dad, Red Grammer, also made a name for himself as a professional singer. And in addition to learning how to play various instruments in his childhood, later in life Andy also earned a B.A. from California State University in the study of the music industry. Indeed even prior to making it big he was true to the game. And this was because Grammer was actually busking in California. He eventually got signed to S-Curve Records in 2010.
Andy Grammer released four albums between 2011 and 2019 with his sophomore effort, “Magazines or Novels” (2014), proving to be the most-successful. Said album featured the signature song of the first decade of his career, “Honey, I’m Good”, which went triple-platinum in the U.S. in addition to peaking at number 9 in America. Other platinum-selling singles he came out with include the following:
- “Keep Your Head Up” (2011)
- “Fine by Me” (2011)
- “Fresh Eyes” (2016)
- “Don’t Give Up on Me” (2019)
And in 2015 he participated on Dancing with the Stars, which contributed to him gaining further notoriety in the public eye.
