Azealia Banks
Azealia Banks is a hip-hop musician from Harlem, New York. She has established a name for herself perhaps more for her feuds than her music. That’s another way of saying that she is a controversial artist. More specifically, looking at her past she’s probably had beef with more rappers (and others) than 50 Cent. Amongst her most-notable beefs was sparking drama with US politician Sarah Palin in 2016 and later that same year reportedly being spat at by Hollywood actor Russell Crowe. She’s also had confrontations with authority figures, and ultimately it can be said she has displayed little to no regard for political correctness.
Additionally Azealia has been irregular in terms of dropping music. For instance, as of 2020 she has only released one album, “Broke with Expensive Taste”, back in 2014. And there is no definitive timeline to when the next one will come out. One of the reasons for such is that she is also known to beef with record labels, accordingly becoming an independent artist in 2016. But that being said, her debut album almost topped a few Billboard charts.
Azealia Banks has also displayed exceptional acting skills. For instance, she was the lead performer in a 2017 film entitled “Love Beats Rhymes”.
In 2020, she dropped a relatively successful single titled “Black Madonna” from her 2020 sophomore album.
