“Be with You” by Enrique Iglesias

Unfortunately in the case of Enrique Iglesias’ “Be With You”, the singer finds himself addressing an ex. More to the point is, apparently as time has evolved, he has come to realize that he simply can’t survive without her.

Life is lonely and has seemingly lost its joy, i.e. the vocalist being caught up in a state of mourning, in her absence. And seemingly when they were actually together, he didn’t appreciate and understand just how important a role she plays in his life. For now that his significant other is gone, it reads as if Enrique’s sole desire is to “be with” her.
