Black Leather by Guns N’ Roses
Lastly, “Black Leather” struts in with a solid rock ‘n’ roll swagger. Originally by The Professionals, this track still carries that raw, underground punk energy but with a slightly polished, GN’R-style overlay. The groovy bassline and the repetitive, catchy chorus give it a hypnotic kind of quality.
When Axl’s vocals kick in, it’s got that typical snarl and sneer that he’s so renowned for. The guitars, while still holding onto that punk aesthetic, have a bit of that Guns N’ Roses gloss over them, giving the track a slightly elevated feel from the underground punk from which it was born.
