Florence + the Machine
In 2007 the British rock collective Florence + the Machine was officially established. It was founded, in London, England, by various artists including its lead singer Florence Welch.

Florence + the Machine’s maiden studio album dropped in 2009. The project, titled “Lungs”, claimed the number 1 position in the UK, and landed at number 14 in the United States. The group’s next two projects, “Ceremonials” and “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful”, experienced greater success. Both of these projects topped the UK’s major album chart, with the latter also peaking at number 1 in the US.
