“Jaja Ding Dong” by Will Ferrell & Molly Sandén

Some readers may have already picked up that part of the title of this song, ding dong, is actually a popular colloquial term for a certain private organ of a male. And when you combine that with the fact that the track was derived from a Will Ferrell comedy, then you already know the general direction the lyrics are going in. So with that in mind there’s little need to actually elaborate on the metaphors contained therein, as they are pretty self-explanatory. And conclusively, to be blunt what the singer is actually referring to is having a god release after having pleasurable bedroom fun.

This is another song which Will Ferrell recorded in conjunction with Molly Sandén for a 2020 musical he wrote and starred in. And said project is entitled “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga”. The pair also recorded the song “Husavik” for the aforementioned project.

In the movie itself, he performs the tune alongside his co-star, actress Rachel McAdams.  And whereas she did make some contributions to the recording of the audio, ultimately it has been credited to singer Molly Sandén. Molly did the bulk of the singing on McAdam’s character’s behalf.

“Jaja Ding Dong” plays a specific and comedic role within the movie and is recited at its end.

The writers and producers of “Jaja Ding Dong” are Gustaf Holter and Christian Persson.

Sony Music Entertainment and Arista Records released this tune as part of the soundtrack to the aforementioned film on 26 June 2020.
