Born in March 1948 in the City of Boston, the US singer and guitarist released his first record, a self-named project, in 1968.
He tasted his first major success in the music scene through his 1970 hit single “Fire and Rain”. This song was released from his sophomore studio album “Sweet Baby James”, which dropped in 1970.
Between 1968 and 2020 Taylor had released a total of twenty albums. And this includes his fourteenth studio album “Hourglass”, which was named “Best Pop Album” at the 1998 Grammy Awards.
