Meaning of “I.F.L.Y.” by Bazzi
This is a personalized love song. The title (I.F.L.Y.) is an acronym which stands for “I [expletive] love you”. And who Bazzi is talking to in particular is his girlfriend, a model by the name of Renee Herbert. And even though he never calls her by name in the lyrics, the song is constructed in such a way that it leaves little ambiguity concerning who he is talking about.
For instance, he references her age as being 20, with Renee having turned 20 shortly before this song was released. He also states that “God made (her) a twin”. And indeed Renee Herbert has an identical twin sister by the name of “Elisha”, whom Bazzi does namedrop in the next line after this reference.

Who is Renee Herbert?
Renee Herbert is a professional model who self-started her career (along with her twin sister, Elisha) as an Instagram personality. She also retained her social media fame, having over 1.4 million followers on Instagram as of the release of “I.F.L.Y.”.
Renee and Elisha are actually triplets, as they also have a brother named Eric who was born with them on 25 June 1999. Renee’s country of origin is Australia. She and Bazzi (an American) began dating somewhere in 2018.
