    Well Tyler said in an interview that “my blood” was inspired by the birth of his two nieces and that it is about God. (God is the one that is always on your side).

      Totally agree with you Chiara. The lyrics are exactly what God would tell Tyler (and all other people). Why do most reviewers assume every song Tyler sings is him speaking to someone vs repeating what he hears or what “someone” wants him to hear?

    I heard in an interview it was about two cousins who played football. One was mouthy and passed off the football team. The football team showed up at the end of their driveway and were calling the mouthy cousin’s name and to come out to fight. The older cousin went out instead and took care of it. I reflected in the theme of the video.
