Pearl Jam

American rock band, Pearl Jam has separated itself from the section of non-resilient bands of their time to become one of the best Rock & Roll bands of the 1990s. They did this by outselling other alternative bands with a wide margin, thus becoming very influential in their decade.

Pearl Jam was officially formed in Seattle in 1990 with the group’s debut performance on October 22, 1990.

As a band formed by musical geniuses who had played for some of the original Seattle grunge bands for nearly a decade, they had a more experienced front.

The band has an existing line-up consisting of:

  • bassist Jeffrey Allen Ament
  • rhythm guitarist Stone Carpenter Gossard
  • lead guitarist Michael David McCready
  • lead vocalist Eddie Jerome Vedder
  • drummer Matthew David Cameron
