“Sergio” by Action Bronson
Action Bronson’s rap track, “Sergio” presents a sense of gratitude.
The song begins with Bronson telling his listeners the stuff that he has been up to while he was away. You can tell he was away briefly in his first line of the verse. In the last aspect of the verse he describes an episode that looks like he went through a near- death experience. He further talks about losing everything he had as a result of alcoholism. He concludes the verse by narrating an addiction problem encountered.
The gratitude tone can be clearly sensed in his second verse where he shows his appreciation for the grace bestowed on him. He additionally explains that there are times he went through difficult situations and still came out unscathed; he also sometimes thinks about whether or not he deserves the kind of favor he receives. He also goes further by saying his life is a motivation for people going through hard situations.
The song was authored by The Alchemist, J Perry and Bronson himself. The Alchemist was credited as the producer for the song. It’s release date was September 25, 2020. The song is a product his album titled “Only For Dolphins”.
