Since I Don’t Have You by Guns N’ Roses

“Since I Don’t Have You” isn’t originally a Guns N’ Roses jam. It’s a cover of The Skyliners’ track from way back in 1958, but it landed a spot on “The Spaghetti Incident?” album which hit the shelves in 1993. The GN’R version has that Axl Rose signature all over it with his unique vocal style giving an old track a new life.

And you’ve gotta love Slash’s guitar work here, turning a doo-wop classic into a hard rock tune. Even though it was kinda unexpected from the bad boys of rock n’ roll, fans and critics didn’t hate it! It even worked its way up to number 69 on the US Billboard Hot 100, showing that GN’R could step outta their comfort zone and still make it work.
