“Y’all Life” came out on 15 July 2022. It is Walker Hayes’ first single since those associated with his most-recent LP, “Country Stuff the Album”, which was released in whole earlier in the year. And it is from that project that we got his signature song to date, 2021’s “Fancy Like“.

Interesting to Note

This song experienced a diss-laden backlash in a weird sorta way. The SEC, as in the Southeastern Conference of NCAA athletics, put forth that this track “just might be the song of football season”, in addition to suggesting that Walker Hayes accordingly “collab” with the organization. And in all, that suggestion resulted in a number of netizens expressing their dislike for “Y’all Life” – so much so that the SEC deleted the aforementioned tweet.

On this song, Walker gives a shoutout to country music legend Dolly Parton, as well NBA star James Harden and casual-dining chain Olive Garden.
