“Adorn” by Miguel
“Adorn” exposes the intention of Miguel to cover and protect his woman with love. He shows admiration for this woman and wants her to feel his sincere love for her all the time.
Miguel showers praise on his woman, especially for her attractive body features which he can’t wait to handle. He assures her of protection and security in his arms and convince her that he will always think of her and never ignore her needs. He further entreats this woman not to allow haters get between them, but to strictly focus on his love which has been made freely available to her.
The singer clearly tells his woman to allow him clothe her with his love, or better still, to allow herself love him just as he does. To the singer, this woman makes his life beautiful, just as the stars do to the night sky and he cannot go on without her because she actually has his heart and mind under her full control. He wants them to have a mutual connection so he can show her the best of love and care so much that it will look like precious clothes on heir.
Miguel has said that he really liked the idea of bestowing his love on someone; that is why he chose ‘adorn’, a powerful but rarely used term to describe his action in its sincerest form.
