TV Girl
TV Girl is the name of an indie pop group from the United States. The band, which hails from California, is currently made up of the following musicians:
- Brad Petering
- Jason Wyman
- Wyatt Harmon
As of April of 2023, the aforementioned trio are the official members of TV Girl.
In 2014, the band released the first studio album of their career titled “French Exit”. Prior to that they had released multiple EPs and mixtapes, including 2010’s “TV Girl”. Despite being professionally active since 2010, the band didn’t actually achieve global fame until 2022 when a number of their songs, (most notably “Blue Hair“) went viral on TikTok.
While the band’s lead singer, Petering, was grateful for the role TikTok played in transforming the fortunes of the band, other members of the band weren’t too pleased with that. In addition to “Blue Hair”, below are some other tracks from TV Girl that achieved TikTok virality:
