A$AP Ferg

ASAP Ferg (aka A$AP Ferg) is one of the many successful rappers which the streets of Harlem, New York have introduced to the world. His moniker is an abbreviation of his last name (Ferguson) combined with a shoutout to the group he belongs to, that being the A$AP Mob. In fact he is generally recognized as one of the crew’s two main rappers besides ASAP Rocky. And Ferg himself has been making music professionally alongside Rocky since 2010.

However, Ferg has remained relatively underground. This is not to imply that he hasn’t experienced considerable professional success.  He actually has. For instance, his first two albums, “Trap Lord” (2013) and “Always Strive and Prosper” (2016), have both made it onto the top 10 of the Billboard 200. And he has also dropped multi-platinum tracks in “Work” (2013) and “Plain Jane” (2017).

Personality wise ASAP Ferg has been recognized for his strong hustling spirit. Indeed even before getting into music, he started his own jewelry and clothing brands and even designed pricey belts that have been worn by the likes of Chris Brown and Swizz Beatz.  And prior to his fashion days, Ferg exclaimed that he used to paint in order to generate income.
