This ordeal seems to worsen the situation as she realizes how hurt and confused she has been since the breakup.

For example, it managed to get to position 7 on Billboard’s “almighty” Hot 100. In achieving this, the song gave Braxton the first U.S. top 10 hit of her career. It also peaked at the 16th and 15th positions in Canada and Britain respectively.

At the Annual Grammy Awards held in 1994, Braxton won three Grammy Awards, including one for this song. With this song, she won the Grammy for “Best R&B Vocal Performance”. And in the process of winning, this hit beat a number of hits from the likes of Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston.
