“BE11A CIAO” by Hopsin

Perhaps we can say that this is Hopsin’s version of a braggadocious or more specifically a battle rap. In it he is calling out “n*g*as” who copy his style, think they’re as cool as him, blazi blah.

You can view the lyrics, alternate interprations and sheet music for Hopsin's BE11A CIAO at Lyrics.org.

It’s a major deviation from the more mental-health focused, sort of pseudo-religious lyrics we’ve become more familiar with in association with Hop in recent items. This time around he’s not speaking to weighty personal matters such as suicidal depression or existential musings but is dealing with a more down-to-earth issue as far as rap fans are concerned.

And that’s rivals, peers and who have you not putting proper “respect on (his) name”. So the vocalist is letting such individuals know that to the contrary, he is in fact the man as far as this rap sh*t goes.
