“Chew On My Heart” by James Bay

James Bay’s “Chew On My Heart” is of course a love song. But the more-important idea which the title ultimately points to is that the singer is putting it all on the line. Or stated differently, he is not afraid to pour his heart out concerning how much feels about his significant other. And how that relates to her specifically is that he wants to love her in a manner in which his own feelings are left unguarded. And the reason he is willing to take such a risk is because he desires more out of the relationship than what you normally get, as in wanting to experience his romance with the lady to the fullest.

James Bay wrote “Chew My Heart” alongside I. Franzino, A. Haas and J. Ryan, with Ryan also serving as the track’s producer.
