Hurts
Hurts is a music duo made up of an instrumentalist by name Adam Anderson and a singer by name Theo Hutchcraft. They first met at a nightclub in 2005. They were witnesses to a fight between their friends but instead of joining the fight, they chose to have a conversation on several topics including music. According to them, they were too intoxicated to participate in the fight.
During their conversation, they decided they could start a band which they did by name Bureau not long after. They later changed the band name to Daggers. In 2008, they had a showcase that flopped so they decided to take a break to figure their stuff out. In 2009, they split up as Daggers and came back as ‘Hurt’. It was at this point they decided they wanted to be more focused on taking their career to the next level.
They started posting short videos and demos on social media and gained a lot of traction. They started gaining a lot of popularity from there.
As Hurts, the pair released their first studio album in 2010. Said album was titled “Happiness” and was a commercial success in many countries.
